Workshop: Guerrilla Plastic Movement holder workshop med skoleelever og andre lokale krefter i 14 dager før festivalen
Parade: Workshopen ender opp med deltakelse i åpningsparaden, der de viser noe av det de har arbeidet med gjennom 14 dager på skolen
Forestilling: “Drama for havet 2”. Med utgangspunkt i workshopen, utstillingen og plasten de finner i fjæra lager de en uteforestilling der barn, unge og voksne deltar.
Hvordan vi jobber:
Utgangspunktet er rydding av strender. Kreerer ideer, lager fotokonsepter, iscenesetter oss selv på stedet, publisere og dele på sosiale medier. Vi utnytter energien det gir å jobbe sammen. Deretter bruker vi plastsøppelet vi finner til ulike kunstprosjekter, kunstinstallasjoner og plastverksteder for barn/voksne.
Guerrilla Plastic Movement arbeider for et rent hav og en plastfri verden ved hjelp av visuelle, verbale og kunstneriske virkemidler; aksjonskunst med humor og alvor. Guerrilla Plastic Movement har lang erfaring innen kreativt arbeid, kommunikasjon og formidling. Vi er kunstnere, kreatører, fotografer, danser, koreograf, pedagoger og forfattere. Gruppen ble etablert i 2016 som en reaksjon på plastkatastrofen.
Hvorfor
- Vi vil vekke og informere folk og synliggjøre problemet.
- Vi vil at all eksisterende plast resirkuleres verden over.
- Vi vil at plast erstattes av bærekraftige materialer så langt det er mulig.
- Vi vil ha et plastfritt hav og en verden uten engangsplast.

Workshop: Guerrilla Plastic Movement will do a workshop with children from Svarholt skole and others for two weeks before the festival
Parade: The Workshop end up in the festival’s opening parade where they will show some of their work and the plastic they have found at the beaches.
Performance: Drama for the ocean 2. Based on the workshop, the exhibition and what they find on the beaches they create an outdoor performance, with participants from the community.
The way we work:
Our starting point is cleaning of the beaches. Creation of ideas, photo concepts, staging ourselves at the place, and sharing on social media. We benefit from the energy of working together. We use the plastic garbage we find for art projects, art installations and workshops for both youth and adult people.
Guerrilla Plastic Movement works for a clean ocean and a world without plastic by using visual, verbal and artistic tools; action art - serious and humoristic at the same time. Guerilla Plastic Movement are experienced in creative work, communication and dissemination. We are artists, photographers, dancers, choreographers, teachers and authors. The collective was established in 2016 as a reaction to the plastic catastrophe.
Why:
-We want to wake people up and visualize the problem
-We wish to recycle all plastic in the whole world
-We wish for all plastic to be replaced by other sustainable materials
-We wish for an ocean without plastic and a world without single used plastic rapping.
